ASDE and UKRGASBANK start cooperation to support business
Recently, the Association of Sustainable Development Experts (ASDE) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the state-owned UKRGASBANK. The purpose of this cooperation is to support small and medium-sized businesses in their development and bring the Ukrainian economy to a sustainable level.
ASDE Chairwoman Alina Sokolenko commented on the partnership established by the Memorandum:
"This partnership is another indicator of joint steps in establishing business processes in wartime. Creating a simplified lending system and favorable conditions is a new achievement in the partnership that will contribute to the development of Ukraine, entrepreneurship and the banking system as a whole”
Rodion Morozov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of UKRGASBANK notes:
"Today, UKRGASBANK, as a socially oriented bank, pays a lot of attention to small and medium-sized businesses affected by the war. "Conditions are special for those whose activities are related to the implementation of environmental and energy efficiency projects," green technologies ", projects using secondary raw materials, alternative energy, environmental protection, etc.,"
About Sustainability Recovery Facility
It will be recalled that ASDE has launched the Sustainability Recovery Facility project, which aims to provide advice to Ukrainian businesses in order to quickly recover from losses during active hostilities. The project also includes a study on the current needs of Ukrainian business.
The partnership with ASDE in the framework of the Sustainability Recovery Facilityproject will help simplify access to finance at UKRGASBANK, the first sustainable development bank in Ukraine, for small and medium-sized businesses affected by the war and forced to relocate their businesses.
