ASDE and the Union of Entrepreneurs of Small, Medium and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine start work in the vector of state reforms and international cooperation
On June 15, 2022, the Association of Sustainable Development Experts signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Union of Entrepreneurs of Small, Medium and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine.
ASDE Chairwoman Alina Sokolenko noted:
«We are ready to seek solutions through the formation of development strategies and programs for public authorities and local governments. No less important is the work with regulations in the field of economics. Together with partners, we will work on proposals to the NPA to change them, provide expert assistance to businesses and establish cooperation with international partners.»
The memorandum defines work in the following key areas:
Business development strategy
ESG business model
Access to green finance
PR and communications
Sustainable supply chains
Management systems in accordance with international standards
Adaptation to climate change
Vyacheslav Bykovets, General Director of the Union of Small, Medium and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine, said:
«The union aims to protect the legal, social, economic and other interests of business. We work on the formation, development and cooperation of small, medium and privatized enterprises. In the conditions of war we do not lose focus on legislative, international levels, formation of sustainable development of business and the state. Our common task is to counter the aggressor on various fronts, including in the economic sphere.»
About Sustainability Recovery Facility
It will be recalled that ASDE has launched the Sustainability Recovery Facility project, which aims to provide advice to Ukrainian businesses in order to quickly recover from losses during active hostilities. The project also includes a study on the current needs of Ukrainian business.
